The Sony BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 (HT-B600) is a premium 3.1.2-channel soundbar system designed to bring a more cinematic audio experience to your living room. It combines 350W total power, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, two up-firing speakers, a dedicated centre channel and a wireless subwoofer.
3.1.2-Channel Immersive Sound
The 3.1.2 configuration consists of three front-firing channels, a dedicated subwoofer channel and two upward-firing channels. The upward-firing speakers bounce sound off the ceiling, creating the impression that sound is coming from above.
This makes compatible Dolby Atmos movies and games more immersive, with effects such as rain, aircraft and explosions appearing to come from different positions around the room.
Dolby Atmos & DTS:X
The HT-B600 supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, providing three-dimensional surround sound from compatible content.
Sony also uses Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround processing to create a wider, more immersive soundstage without requiring rear speakers around the room.
350W Powerful Audio
The system delivers 350W total power, giving it enough output for movies, television, music and gaming in a typical living room.
The included wireless subwoofer handles the low frequencies, producing deeper bass for explosions, action scenes, music and other bass-heavy content. Sony lists the subwoofer as wireless, making placement more flexible.
Clear Dialogue
A major advantage of the HT-B600 is its dedicated centre speaker. The centre channel is designed to keep voices positioned clearly in the middle of the screen.
Sony also includes Voice Mode for dialogue enhancement. When paired with a compatible BRAVIA TV, Voice Zoom 3 can further improve voice clarity.

The soundbar is particularly suited to movies and streaming because the combination of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, upward-firing speakers and the wireless subwoofer provides a more cinematic presentation than a conventional 2.1-channel soundbar.
