The biggest attraction is the enormous 98-inch QLED display. Quantum Dot technology gives the P8K a wide colour range, with TCL quoting up to 93% DCI-P3 colour gamut. This helps produce richer reds, greens and blues while maintaining more natural-looking skin tones.
Its 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160 provides detailed images, while TCL's AiPQ Pro processor uses AI-based processing for scene, colour, contrast, clarity, motion and HDR optimisation. This is particularly useful when watching lower-resolution content because the TV can upscale it to appear sharper.
The TV also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, giving compatible movies and streaming content a wider range between bright highlights and dark areas. The listed HDR brightness is around 450 nits for this model.
144Hz Gaming
