The Hisense 55Q6Q 55-inch 4K QLED Smart TV is a mid-range premium television designed for customers who want vibrant QLED colours, sharp 4K resolution, smart streaming and immersive Dolby sound at a more accessible price than high-end Mini-LED or OLED televisions. It combines Quantum Dot colour technology with Hisense's VIDAA smart platform and a slim, frameless design.
QLED 4K Display
The 55Q6Q features a 55-inch Direct LED QLED display with a native 3840 × 2160 4K UHD resolution. Quantum Dot technology provides a wider colour range and more vivid colours than conventional LED displays, making movies, sports and nature content look more vibrant. Hisense lists a 60Hz native refresh rate, with a 120Hz smooth-motion rate for improved motion processing.
The TV also has a 4000:1 native contrast ratio, approximately 350 nits typical brightness, an 8-bit + FRC colour depth and a 178° viewing angle.
Dolby Vision & HDR
The Q6Q supports Dolby Vision and HDR formats, helping compatible content display better contrast, brighter highlights and greater detail in darker scenes. It also features an AI 4K Upscaler, which improves lower-resolution content so that HD broadcasts and older movies can appear sharper on the 4K screen.
AI Smooth Motion
For fast-moving content such as football, action movies and racing, AI Smooth Motion and MEMC help reduce motion blur and make movement appear smoother. This is particularly useful for sports viewing.
Gaming Features
The 55Q6Q includes Game Mode Plus, ALLM and Game Bar. ALLM can automatically switch the TV into a lower-latency mode when a compatible gaming console is detected. The TV's native refresh rate is 60Hz, so it is better suited to everyday and console gaming than competitive high-refresh-rate gaming.
Dolby Atmos Sound
